14h30 JAF and DC Chairs meeting in the hotel “Panorama”. (Programme)
- 17h30 Guided tour by bus in Vilnius city.
  
  There will be two buses at the Panorama hotel, departure time: 17h30 and 17h45.
  
  Meeting points:
  
  17h30 hotel Panorama.
  
  17h15 hotel Radisson SAS. There will be a person to accompany you to Panorama hotel.
  
  Please note, after the excursion the buses go directly to Verkiai Palace.
- 20h00 Dinner in Verkiai Palace (about 7 km from Vilnius center).
  
  Dinner will be hosted by the CSO President.
  
  23h00 Departure to hotels.

- Dinner in Trakai Castle (30 km from Vilnius).
  
  Dinner will be hosted by the Vice-Minister of Education and Science of Lithuania Virginija Budienė.
  
  18.30 There will be a bus at the Panorama hotel.
  
  23h00 Departure to hotels.

- Dinner in the Museum of Applied Art (The Old Arsenal in the center of Vilnius).
  
  Dinner will be hosted by the Agency for International Science and Technology Development Programmes.

AIRPORT

The International Vilnius Airport is 7 kilometres away from the centre of Vilnius. The flights to Vilnius airport are organized by the companies Aeroflot, Air Baltic, Aurela, Austrian airlines, Aviavilsa, Czech Airlines, Estonian Air, Finnair, Joana, Lithuanian airlines flyLAL, LOT, Lufthansa, SAS. http://www.vilnius-airport.lt/lt/

From airport to the hotels you can go by bus, minibus or taxi. “Panorama” hotel is close to the central station. “Grotthus”, “Europa Royale” and “Radisson SAS Astorija” hotels are in the heart of the Old town, 10-15 minutes walk from the central station.

TAXI

Take a taxi at the airport. It will cost about 40 LTL to get to the Old town

BUS

Take a bus No.1 from the airport to the central station (direction “Oro uostas – stotis”). You have to get off at the last stop – at the central bus station. See the traffic schedules:

The ticket costs 1,4 LTL if you buy in the bus, 1,1 LTL - if you buy in the newspapers kiosk.

MINI-BUS

Take a minibus No. 28 to the central station. Ask the driver to stop at the central bus station.

The ticket costs 3 LTL. You can buy it only in the minibus.

CURRENCY

The Lithuanian currency is Litas. Official exchange rate: 1 EUR is 3.4528 LTL plus commissions. You will find an exchange office at the airport.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

EU citizens should have either their ID card or passport. For non-EU citizens a passport is required.
